The cast is preparing to go on a boat trip for several days and Gourry overhears an
interesting conversation

* Gourry is walking along catching up with the others when he spots Xel. Nervously he says Hi, Xellos."
* Xelloss who has just been in a store buying porn-magazines in favor for a couple of horny
too-young-to-buy-them-themselves teenage boys, looks away from watching the boys running away with their treasures and at
the blonde swordsman.
<Xelloss> Hallo there, and why yes.. nice it is.
<Gourry> So... how are you doing?
<Xelloss> Oh, same old, same old! ^_^;
<Gourry> Oh. We got a boat.
<Xelloss> A boat huh? And 'we' plan to do what with this boat?
<Gourry> Go fishing with it!
<Gourry> You and Filia are coming, aren't you?
<Xelloss> Ho, fishing? Sounds trivial.
* Xelloss looks at Gourry in a cold bored way..
<Gourry> Oh. You don't want to come with me, Lina, Zel and Amelia. *Big puppy dog eyes.* You aren't still mad at me? Are
you?
<Xelloss> Mad? Who, me? Not at all, Gourry-san. Whatever happened is your problem. My Lord does whatever she wants, after
all. (and hopefully nothing mean to me.. ^^;;)
<Gourry> So you aren't mad? It was an accident really...
<Gourry> ...it was nice. She does have a terrific body but it really was an innocent accident...
* Xelloss pats Gourry on the shoulder reassuringly. Xelloss then seems to have a thought and looks a bit less-bored.
<Xelloss> She has yes, hasn't she?
<Gourry> *babbles a while nervously* ... but I don't want it to interfere with our relationship. You really are a nice guy
and I really like hanging around with you...
<Xelloss> Speaking of bodies.. Say, Gourry-san, how close have you got to LINA'S BODY, hm? ^^

* Filia leans on her table, staring with half opened eyes at Mizu.
* Amelia looks at the kitchen where Zelgadiss-san is, and then knocks on Filia-san's door...
* Filia sits up "Hai?"
<Gourry> Nice weather we're having.
* Amelia goes in.
<Amelia> The fish looks happy...
<Amelia> Filia-san...
<Filia> Hai hai...Mizu-chan seems happy enough I suppose. *smiles*
<Amelia> Lina-san and Gourry-san have decided that we're all going fishing.
<Amelia> I probably should go, I should let you pack and...I really should take a shower...
* Amelia gets up and leaves Filia-san's room, and walks down to the kitchen.
*Filia tips her head to a side...of course...a fishing trip WOULD be nice perhaps...

<Amelia> Zelgadiss-san?
<Zelgadis> Hi Amelia. How is the packing coming?
* Zelgadis is stowing food items into crates and such...
<Amelia> I just told Filia-san about Lina-san and Gourry-san's plans...
<Zelgadis> Good. Is she coming?
<Amelia> Probably...
<Zelgadis> I remembered there is an extra bed, if you fold up the table and convert those benches.
<Amelia> Oh, good...
<Amelia> I think I'll take a shower before I pack...
<Amelia> ...maybe you could help me choose what to pack, Zelgadiss-san?
* Zelgadis blushes thinking about the *last* time Amelia got him in her room..
<Zelgadis> Maybe As soon as I finish with these..
<Amelia> Okay, Zelgadiss-san!
* Amelia goes off to get herself showered.
*Zelgadis closes the last in a towering stack of crates of food.
*Zelgadis heads to his room to see about his own supplies

<Xelloss> As for my "Mom", Gourry-san.. It's not me you should worry about there, but her. Ah, but don't worry 'bout it
for now.
<Gourry> What about her? She said she didn't mind.
* Xelloss realizes that this conversation just stumbled and fell and broke both legs.
<Xelloss> Never mind, never mind.. *pats shoulder again*
<Gourry> No. I want to know. What will she do?
*Xelloss sighs and scratches head. "I frankly have no idea, Gourry-san. She's a tricky woman."
<Gourry> But you don't think she really minded? I said I was sorry.
<Xelloss> I wouldn't say my Lord is a.. prude.. woman, so no I don't think she did. ^^;;
<Gourry> Oh Xellos. Today's been even more confusing that any other day...
<Gourry> First the net incident and then Lina was mad and then she was pregnant and then she was not...*Throws up his
hands* I just don't know what to make of everything!
*Xelloss gives Gourry an open-eyed stare, looking pretty much like Gourry himself does once in a while.
*Xelloss decides not to ask.
<Xelloss> Anyway, uh, so where is this boat you have and where are you going hm?
<Gourry> At the dock. The boathouse run by this pirate looking guy. We are just going to float around for 3 or so days
fishing.
<Xelloss> Ah, sounds nice. Trivial, but nice.
<Zelgadis> (Xel, and the captain emphasized the coziness and sturdiness of the beds...)
<Gourry> (So what's Cupid Xel's new mission? Get Lina and Gourry together or something?)
<Xelloss> (G: Dark-chaos-cupid-Xelloss' missions are always a secret.)
<Gourry> Hopefully Lina is still not angry at me.
<Xelloss> Why, OF course NOT, Gourry-san! *smiles reassuringly (yes, and not sneaky)* Lina is a
violent person, but she ahs a heart of gold! ^^
<Gourry> I know. She really is something.
*Xelloss mentally adds 'scary/sad part is that I probably ain't lying there.' ^^;;

*Zelgadis sees Filia's room.
<Zelgadis> Hi Filia. Are you coming on the fishing trip?
*Filia jumps, looks around "Hi Zelgadis-san ^^ I suppose I am...I just hope Mizu-chan will be alright."
<Zelgadis> Mizu?
<Filia> The fish I won at the festival ^^
<Zelgadis> Oh, just get one of those week feeders. They dispense food slowly while you go on vacation.
<Filia> Ah, what a good idea Zelgadis-san! ^^
<Zelgadis> There should be enough room for all of us on the boat. There are two rooms with a bed each and the couch can
be converted to a third bed.
<Zelgadis> Enough beds if some of us are willing to share.... <trails off blushing..> Anyway! You need to get packed if
you are coming
*Filia smiles again "Hai hai Zelgadis-san."
*Zelgadis is planning and counting beds and people. Mumbles "Me and Amelia *blushes*, Lina, Gourry probably on the
floor..., Filia.. I think it will work as long as Xelloss doesn't bug us..."
<Xelloss> (Zel: good luck pal..)
*Filia sighs to herself as she begins packing assorted clothing...
*Filia pats her suitcase when finished "I hope that will work..." She hoped she didn't need to bring anything especially
for the fishing itself...not that she wanted to fish really. Well...if she did, another pet might be nice...unless Lina
roasted the poor thing. Oh well...as long as she didn't do that to Mizu..

*Zelgadis packs up his own chest with some clothes, some extra supplies and one particular item..
*Zelgadis packs chest and locks it so no one will snoop in it...
*Zelgadis checks trunk again and carries it outside.
*Filia pats her own trunk before getting it out as well.
<Filia> Zelgadis-san? Do you know where I can get one of those feeders? ^^;
<Zelgadis> Probably the petshop in town. It's on the main street near this end. You may also want to get any other extra
supplies you'll be wanting.
<Filia> Thank you Zelgadis-san...*grin* So, did you enjoy your fun with Amelia-san?"
<Zelgadis> What? <blushes> Oh you mean at the festival? We had a very nice time.
*Zelgadis remembers why he had been avoiding everyone and hoping that no one overheard too much..)
<Filia> Well, that's good...speaking of hearing something Zelgadis-san...you and Amelia-san should really learn to quiet
down a bit, or Lina-san may...not be too happy...
*Zelgadis turns very very red.
<Zelgadis> Uh...
*Filia smiles "Really, I think it's about time..."
<Zelgadis> What .. are you referring to.... <very nervous>
*Zelgadis puts one hand behind his head in the classic anime gesture or nervousness.
<Filia> Yourself and Amelia-san of course Zelgadis-san! ^^

<Gourry> Well, do you want to see the boat? *Happy that there are no hard feelings between Xel and himself now.*
*Xelloss shrugs and follows Gourry.
<Captain Kelsey> Arrgh. Ye back so soon. Well I just nearly finished with the preparations ye stone friend wanted. Arrgh.
<Gourry> "Hi."
*Xelloss gives the odd human an equally odd look..
<Captain Kelsey> Arrgh. The new anchor finally came from the smithy. Arrgh.
*Xelloss thinks "Anchor?"
<Captain Kelsey> Arrgh. Still don't know what problem he had with old rusty. What's the Happy Barnacle without it? Very
unlucky. Arrgh.
*Xelloss adds to himself: "Didn't the chimera work just fine last time? *snicker*".... Xelloss seems lost in evil thought
for a moment.
*Xelloss smiles calmly to himself and wonders absently in what tone of voice 'Anchor? What anchor?' will sound the most
believable in..
<Zelgadis> (Zel practices his insane nervous laughter...)
<Captain Kelsey> Arrgh. Poor old Rusty. Arrgh. Would ye boys like to help me install the new one. I just can't get the
hang of losing my right eye. *Taps hook on his left glass eye.*
*Xelloss smiles wide.
<Xelloss> Why, of course we could, sir!
<Gourry> Didn't you just tap your left eye?
<Captain Kelsey> Arrgh. *Looks sad.* Two glass eyes. Arrgh.
*Xelloss sweatdrops. humans -never cease to amaze you, do they? ^^;;
<Captain Kelsey> Arrgh. We have to reinstall the new anchor. Arrgh.
<Xelloss> Aye, aye! *goes to assist*
<Captain Kelsey> Arrgh. Attach it to the chain. Be careful with the crank. I couldn't get a replacement of it. Or I would
have to put the Happy Barnacle in the shop for a month. But it'll last if you are tender with it. Arrgh.
* Xelloss skips over to it with a cheery "O-kay!" ^^
* Xelloss smiles and attaches the anchor chain in the crank 'most carefully'. -Or so it LOOKS anyhow.
<Captain Kelsey> Arrgh. Sounds like you boys are doing a good job. Arrgh.
<Gourry> Thanks.

* Xelloss smiles and 'secures' the anchor

<Zelgadis> <whispers> you heard that? <didn't realize quite how much noise they'd been making as his mind had been on
other things at the moment>
* Zelgadis blushes and whispers "You didn't hear anything did you?"
<Filia> Of course Zelgadis-san..^^; Gourry-san nearly walked in on you two also...lucky thing he didn't.

* Amelia finally steps out of the shower, after having done what was probably the most complete shower in her life...
* Amelia steps into her room.
* Amelia sees that a trunk has been put into her room...
<Zelgadis> Gourry? Oh no! We weren't doing anything! Then..
* Amelia sighs, wondering where Zelgadiss-san is, and opens up her underwear drawer to pick underwear...
<Zelgadis> (let me guess she wanted his help choosing racy underwear... The vibrator in that drawer? I think she won't
want Zel to see that yet either. ^^;;)
<Xelloss> (... Zel.. looked.. in Amelia's.. underwear drawers...? *bursts out laughing*)
<Amelia> (Jen: Not yet.)
<Xelloss> (*continues to laugh because of the stupid vision she got of Zel picking up something
he didn't count to find*)
<Amelia> (...we have to get Zel into Amelia's underwear drawer...)
<Xelloss> (*jen in officially almost on the floor due to that vision*)
<Xelloss> (*gets continued vision which includes Zel storming out red in face, running into Xel stammering 'You.. y..you
.. in. her drawer..??!!', to which Xel replies 'Oh, you mean this one?' and hold up picture of said thing. Picture which
also includes Amelia. Zel then turns red in a different way after recovering from shock.. and no one will be able to blame
Lina this time for the crashed town/hotel.*)
<Filia> I heard plenty Zelgadis-san...^^;
<Gourry> Well that's weird. There no way you can mistake someone for Lina.
* Zelgadis blushes...
<Zelgadis> L-sama... Filia, who else heard? What am I going to do?
* Xelloss chuckles.. "Ah well, must be the sun... or something.."
<Filia> Gourry-san may have heard something..but I think we were the only other two in the house at the time.

* Amelia sighs, closes the drawer, and puts Zelgadiss-san's robe back on and lies down to wait for his return...
* Zelgadis looks a little relieved that Lina hasn't heard yet at least.
* Amelia slips into a light doze...
<Zelgadis> Filia, please.. Just don't say anything to anyone OK?
<Filia> Hai Zelgadis-san, I won't say a word...but I won't need to if you two keep making THAT much noise...
<Gourry> How are you and Filia doing? You two seem to be getting pretty close. Filia seems to want to hang out with you.
Did you call a truce or something?
* Xelloss gives Gourry a looook, where they stand by the boat.
* Zelgadis blushes profusely...

<Filia> Anyway, should we go see how Amelia-san's doing? ^^

* Filia gives Zel a calm look "Don't worry about it Zelgadis-san ^^"

<Xelloss> (And now he's lecturing English on why one should use the nice 'F-word'. *rubs temples*)
* Zelgadis gives up explaining and goes to Amelia's room.
* Amelia has shifted so that the robe's top is open, and half-off her shoulders...
<Zelgadis> (Lina, we have a mountain of food crates as well as one personal trunk each)
* Zelgadis heads toward Amelia's room to see how she's doing. Looks to see if Filia is still coming.
* Filia walks up after Zel.
* Zelgadis doesn't really mind the protection from being attacked again by a horny princess.
*Zelgadis thinks she's less likely to attack if Filia's there. Which is good since Zel has just found out how noisy they
are when they have fun..
* Lina brushes her hands off and looks at the towering pile she's amassed. "Okay, I think that'll be enough for one day...
we'll have to come back and restock tonight." ^_^
<Filia> So, are you going to go in Zelgadis-san? ^^;"
* Zelgadis knocks on Amelia's door.
<Xelloss> You better ask HER that, Gourry-san.
* Amelia doesn't respond...

* Xelloss just shrugs at Gourry.
* Amelia is asleep, half-wearing Zelgadiss-san's robe; it's fallen off her shoulders and is no longer covering her chest,
and the sash is threatening to let it fall the rest of the way open.
* Xelloss won't admit it too loud, but he's actually sort of curious to know the answer to that question of Gourry's too..
<Gourry> Come on, Xellos. Tell me. I want to know.
* Zelgadis and stops gape mouthed, just enough into the room that Filia can see around him.
* Amelia murmurs something in her sleep...
* Filia peeks around "Well..she seems to be asleep..." Looks at Zel with his mouth hanging open
"Ano...Zelgadis-san? Can I ask you something?"
* Zelgadis doesn't respond.
* Filia pokes Zelgadis "Don't go like that...you did see her nude a few hours ago, didn't you?"
* Amelia mutters again...quite clearly dreaming...
* Zelgadis erp... closes mouth at Filia's prodding...
* Filia sighs.
* Zelgadis approaches Amelia to cover her. Does he hear anything?

* Zelgadis blushes and tried not to face Filia.
* Lina finds something to thump on to get the guys' attention! "Hey! I'm not carrying all that food out here all by
myself, y'know!"
* Zelgadis gently tries to cover her with the robe.
* Amelia wakes up...

* Filia sweatdrops, backing nice and slow out of the room...
<Gourry> Okay. We are done with the anchor. What should be next?
* Filia doesn't want to be in there if something...happens...
* Xelloss blinks and looks at Lina. "Why not, Lina-san? It's mainly you eating, ne?"
<Lina> You'd let a poor defenseless little girl do all the work by herself? Where's your sense of chivalry?
<Gourry> Here. I'll help you Lina. *Goes to help Lina.*

* Filia hasn't closed the door yet, but looked almost like she was about to...

* Zelgadis looks at Filia, unsure if he wants her to stay or get the hell out.
* Filia gives a slight nervous chuckles as she backs out, closing the door behind her...
<Amelia> ::whispering to Zelgadiss-san:: It's alright... I just want to get dressed right now...though if you want to
change my mind...
* Zelgadis erp...
* Zelgadis is a little nervous again, not liking other people knowing about it.
<Amelia> ( <snicker> Zel doesn't have a clue what to do with a gal when he's not asleep...)
* Amelia yawns slightly.
<Zelgadis> How.. is the packing going?
<Amelia> Nowhere...I needed a nap...

* Amelia prays that he doesn't find her 'toy', but knows that it's too late to insist he not go into her underwear

would end up married to one of the wimps that the Royal Council wanted her to marry...)

* Lina and Gourry finish loading the food on the boat (which is sitting rather lower in the water by now...)
<Lina> I'm gonna go see if Zel and Amelia are coming, okay, guys?
* Amelia wonders if Zelgadiss-san will always be as shy with her...
<Lina> (We just finished loading the boat and I'm going in to see if Zel and Amelia are coming.)
